Pyro 2 Summer Camp is August 9-14, 2008!

For over 20 years Colonial Church has offered Pyro 2 to students going into 7th, 8th, and 9th grades. During a week of Pyro 2, teenagers deepen their faith as they experience a week they aren’t soon to forget.

Click HERE to register. You are encouraged to register early as Pyro 2 has a history of filling up quickly.

The cost is $350 per camper, which includes a $75 non-refundable deposit. Fifty percent of the cost is due at registration, with the final payment due on July 1.

Scholarships are available. We certainly want every teenager to go to camp and never want money to be an issue. If you have need for a scholarship, please contact Brian Jones via email or at 952-925-2711. If you would like to anonymously offer a scholarship to a student please click here.

A waiting list will be created once registration has reached capacity. If for some reason we have a cancellation you will be notified immediately. We will work very hard to make certain that every student has an opportunity to experience Pyro 2.

Cancellations must be submitted in writing to Brian Jones. Refunds will be given, minus the non-refundable deposit, until July 15. No refunds will be given after July 15.

Students are absolutely encouraged to invite a friend to camp! If your teenager invites a friend that has never been to Pyro 2, both can get a free t-shirt. As each person registers online they will be asked who invited them. If the registrant is brand new to camp, both the new registrant and the friend who invited them will get a free t-shirt in the mail!

The friendships that are formed between campers and their counselors are one of the highlights each year of Pyro 2. If you know a high school junior or senior or college-age student that you feel has a deep faith in Christ and would be great with Jr. High students, have them contact Brian Jones to schedule an interview.

If you will be at least a high school junior and you love both God and kids then counseling at Pyro 2 might be a good fit for you. In the 25 year tradition of Pyro 2 hundreds of high school and college age students have given a week of their lives to serve jr. high students. This year might be your turn.

Pyro 2 dates are August 9-14. Counselors have a mandatory training retreat on August 1-2. To apply, you must fill out 2 forms, a statement of faith and a background check application. Once those are received a member of the youth staff will contact you for an interview.
